The wines were just short of “ok” in my opinion. As for the beverages… The beer was pretty good and they had a lot of options, but it was nothing special. It’s a beautiful building with comfortable seating (and a lot of it), and the views are stunning. This place is both a winery and a brewery, and it is HUGE! Like I seriously got lost even trying to find the outdoor seating for us and our dog, and then again trying to find the bathroom haha. If you like my reviews, videos or photos why not get a photo with the Sens mascott, Sparacat and give a salut with your hockey stick. They are looking into building it in an open area in LeBreton Flats, which will be an easy walk to downtown Ottawa and Gatineau. The city of Ottawa is now looking into building a new arena to increase capacity and revenue from the NHL games. The concession stands provide their services at a reasonable rate, but prices are high. The general flow getting into the stadium, passing through security and finding your way to your seat is reasonably quick. All offer different perspectives in viewing the games and enjoying a unique game experience. There are 4 levels in the stadium with the lower three dedicated for Seating/ Suites and the 4th with standing suites. ![]() Such as The Palladium (1996), COREL Centre (1996 - 2006), Scotiabank Place (2006 - 2013) and now it is the Canadian Tire Centre (2013 - present). The stadium has changed its name several times. ![]() This distance becomes more of an issue since hockey games are played during winter when the worst driving conditions occur. There were questions relating to the lack of transit infrastructure and its location being so far from higher density populated areas (downtown Ottawa and Gatineau). There has been much controversy about why the region's most impressive stadium was constructed 27km from the city centre of Ottawa. It also hosts indoor music concerts and special events. The stadium opened in 1996 and was built to accomondate Ottawa's National Hockey Leagues (NHL) franchise team, the Ottawa Senators. The home of the National Capital Region's largest capacity Arena/ Stadium is located in Kanata.
